Aeronaut offers a number of high-quality consumables to fit every Aeronaut cutter and other common cutting machines. Our goal is to make sure you have the tools you need to bring your big ideas to life. It’s why we stock both off-the-shelf, disposable blades wherever possible, and design speciality blades to a similar pattern in alternative materials.

Affordable, durable and easy-to-use
Aeronaut sources the best ‘off the shelf’ disposable blades, pens and timing belts, along with a select range of premium consumables, like the carbide blades and inkjet cartridges.
Inkjet Pen for Large Scale Plotting
The inkjet pen is a special purpose marker developed by Aeronaut for plotting large scale drawings on rough and porous materials.
The inkjet pen uses a single drop-on-demand nozzle instead of a pen or felt-tip marker to draw clear, dense lines. Typically, this is for very large scale work like marking carpet backing for custom-tufted carpets and for marking very porous material where denser markings are required than are possible with a conventional inkjet print head.
The inkjet pen draws a little faster than a pen but it can draw where conventional markers can’t. The inkjet pen does not have the big speed advantage of an inkjet print head drawing text, however, the inkjet pen is fitted with large ink tanks and can use a wider range of specialised ink.

Markers and Pens for High Speed Plotting
Markings help automated cutters time and mistakes during the fabrication process.
Aeronaut’s concentric marker holder aligns the tip of the marker so that it’s always the same distance from the reference cutting tool axis. The holder will take almost any marker from ball point pens to paint pens and felt tips to mark on almost any material.
The Aeronaut pen assembly will allow you to ballast or load the pen so it marks reliably at speed. Our pen system has flow controls so you can adjust the drop and lift rate of the pen assembly to get the best results.
There’s a special holder for pressurised ball point refills. These don’t melt and fall out of the pen when plotting at speed, leaving an ugly ink blot on the job. They are worth the money for critical applications.
